Timeless, durable, comfy and versatile, the Oxford cloth shirt is a men's staple.
The rules of this Friday Challenge are simple : wear your favorite Oxford shirt, à la CM or smart casual.
If you want, you can tell us why it is your favorite, maybe there is a story with this shirt, but this is optional.
A tie is not mandatory, and all types of collars are allowed.
Entries allowed until October 12th.

Great idea for a challenge, Inspecteur! Sadly I'll have to watch from the sidelines again this time.

It's such a shame Mikkel Rude is no longer trading. Those oxford cloth button downs were the hound's mounds!

My favorites are Hilditch and Key oxfords in their cutaway collar.
Not being sold in the current season, except in plaids, as per their
site. I think mine are Royal Oxfords. The cloth is heavy and the white/
blue pattern is more distinct.

This is my favorite OCBD. It is made up in an archive Oxford with red and blue stripes. Therefore I find that it has more visual interest than a typical blue OCBD. I have tried to pay respect to the OCBDs of the past when selecting details such as lightly lined, unfused collar and cuff, center box pleat with locker loop and reinforced side seam gussets. I hope you like it as well.

I wouldn't say that this is my favourite OCBD, but it's new and this was the maiden voyage. My first pink-striped OCBD. It's from Viola Milano and I like the large collar with a nice roll.

Must the shirts be button down?
