This is such a great idea. Great submissions so far, too.
I think that @bienluienapris is onto something. All true cineasts know that the villains in dark suits, smokings and fancy costumes etc are just showing off. It's the guy in the tan suit that you need to keep an extra eye on, especially in French film. Here I'm channeling my inner Gabriel Byrne, unfortunately I miss the rest of the lineup...
I definitely agreed. And that's a wonderful inspiration, really a great movie and one of the best movie end.
not sure if people are remembering how that movie actually ended
One of my favorite tan suits was in a French thriller. Fit and styling are a bit non-SF-approved. Padded shoulder; bellied lapel. Slightly low trousers.
In fat, the real villain of the movie is a little bit more on the.... (I will not said it in order to not spoil the movie)
I'm so in!
Probably disqualified because these are not from this week, but never posted these on this side and might be good inspiration for teh challenge. Forgive me the indulgence.
Nice one Inspector.
That's true of course but in that movie all is relative. All of them are guilty in some way or another...
They're coming - time to leave:
I've got the gear - but time for one last pic...
...they're not gonna catch us in that...
More of a henchmen at heart, but dress for the job you want
This fit is old but it gave birth to enough gdl villain memes to deserve a post
