Sorry, I thought I had mentioned what kind they were, but it looks like this posted without. I agree that folks may be curious.Low boots? What kind?
What’s the name/brand of those boots.
I wil try to post two pics each for the poll (if you posted several pictures) and add the brand and type of boots name, as this is StyleForum after all.
You're talking about different types of boots. Not sure why you compare work boots with dress boots. There are different types of boots with different functions. Not to instigate, but this raises a question wit me bout fashion quality vs utilitarian quality not necessarily for the challenge but in general, especially bout boots. My test for a good boot is if it can drive a shovel into the ground consistently without hurting my foot or to protect my feet from rough terrain. I would never think to do that to a boot I would only wear fo fashion. I guess quality would depend on the material used and over all finish, IMO. Working manual labor most of my career, the contrast is ironic.
Sure, but I know plenty people that dont wear their Redwings, Doc Martens, Timberlands to work ever, though those boots are designed, especially for that type of useYou're talking about different types of boots. Sure, but not sure what the point here is because those are very different types of boots, regardless of how people wear them. One can't even compare the quality of those brands to say the quality of brands like EG, JMW, etc. Those brands are made in very different ways, with very different materials. The only thing I could think is that if you're talking about quality with fashion, as you termed it, then if you're going to compare the quality of Timberlands being worn as fashion boots to EG boots being worn as fashion boots, then you wouldn't be evaluating based on being able to push a shovel into the ground or walking over rough terrain.Sure, but I know plenty people that dont wear their Redwings, Doc Martens, Timberlands to work ever, though those boots are designed, especially for that type of use
I think you made my point, but there seems to be alot of confusion.Sure, but not sure what the point here is because those are very different types of boots, regardless of how people wear them. Sorry, maybe I missed a point in the earlier discussion you were having with someone else.
