Really nice piece. Honestly, after seeing the photo for the first time I googled it (after asking notre cher ami what model it was) to find out price and shipping options...On Clouseau's urging, I'm in. He posted my pic, so I might as well let it go forward.

Do you by chance teach at St. Andrews?Too right I wouldn't.
I may have seen elderly persons in every shade of taupe/beige/cream, but I have never ever seen anyone 'geriatric' in a G9! And that's flat! I have a vintage G9 in stone, and I wear it everywhere. The trick with that colour is to wear dark blue with it.
Oh, I said I wear it everywhere. There's one exception - St Andrews! I never wear it to university, because I'd look too much like a bloody golfer in it.
"They" being John Simons.
Raglan schmaglan!Aside from the lack of raglan sleeves, the Merc Harrington is near perfect I think. View attachment 1284873 View attachment 1284874
There was a film critic in the 60s/70s? Named John Simon. I don’t know if he wrote about tv but he did hate everything so I’d bet Ryan O’Neal wasn’t one of his favorites. Please explain. The only Wikipedia gives me is a British radio exec who began his career in the 80s.
