    10 minutes late!

Life and other unnecessary things came in my way...

That's probably a safe bet, I don't have much of an opinion seeing as how I only wear suits when in court or when someone is dead.

Some great stuff in this challenge, gentlemen! @Betelgeuse has my vote for best of a strong field.

Here's my contribution. Head to foot as follows:

RayBan aviators, Ben Sherman gingham shirt, suit in blue mohair by John Simons, silk square, penny loafers by Jones the Bootmaker.

No the Friday Challenge may live. I’m just not a fan of loafers with suits, or loafers generally. Even with a casual suit I’d almost prefer some interesting sneakers to loafers at this point.

Thanks for the votes, gentleman. Any ideas for the next challenge?

Something totally off the walls. We've had a lot of "Wear X with X" challenges, so why not something that lets people use their imaginations? Interpreting a work of art through clothes, perhaps. Maybe another "emotion" challenge where you interpret a particular feeling or mood. Maybe something tough, like "Make 80s Clothes Work." Just something that will capture people's attention and make for some cool entries.

Polling closed on 14 April and you submitted your entry on the 16th. I can make an exception for someone who submitted their entry ten minutes after the deadline but not two days.

Congrats, @An Acute Style ! A well deserved victory in a strong field

16th? No way. Some browser glitch somewhere. I'll accept "15th" at a pinch - in fact my screen shows first thing on Sunday Morning, UK time, while the US would have been asleep, so technically, yes, I was out-of time - but not 16th. So I was maybe a handful of hours late, but not two days. Moreover, I notice now that someone else filed late and was included. No fair! No fair!

Congrats sir! What about 'seasonal incongruence' - a mix of items not normally worn together at this spring / autumn season. Yes, it's been done before.

It seems like the simplicity of loafers with a suit made it really easy for many to join in? I know I'm new but it seems like the more the merrier?
That said it also seems fun to do something that most of the "Classic Menswear" crowd finds unappealing, like the loafers with a suit. I'm sure most ideas have been done before but the "seasonal incongruence" thing sounds like fun.
