1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Show us that you are a #menswear-dude. Cordovan Marlows, Solaro suit or a tie with edges rolled by virgins? Bring it. Green Donegal suit or dub monks. Bring it. Ambrosi trousers or a Corcos suit? Bring it. One or more items should show that you are not just another dude in a suit and tie. Show us your love and appreciation for #menswear.

Normal CM rules applies. So wear a suit, jacket and odd trousers, tie/bow and proper footwear. PS is optional. This should work for both s/s and f/w depending on where you live.

Poll will go up on Sunday morning Swedish time.

As #menswear as I am, I don't know that I really own any #menswear items. 3r2 jackets? Pointed knitted tie?? Seems like #menswear lite. Hmmmm, but I'll see if I can figure something out.

    In.

I'm sure you have something in your wardrobe... A BN Tailor item perhaps?

Ahhh...gotcha...the items themselves don't have to have #menswear features per se, but the brands/makers can be associated with the idea.

    Yup. No problem.

I'm guessing cream wool/mohair trousers with side adjusters and all that jazz would work :)

Some of these challenges are puzzling to me. I really haven't a clue what we're supposed to be doing this week. Is it just me?

Lots of linen, pointed end knit, untucked back blade, unfused collar, wool/silk square, BnT jacket, beard.

Don't you have a peak lapel odd jacket? Dudeman, that's a missed opportunity.

Nah, I think he just laid down a marker that will be very hard to beat. The only weakness here is that Claghorn doesn't have feet and therefore can't sport the iconic shoes of #menswear--either narrow-waisted loafers in grain or suede, or double-monks.

Some predictions: lots of the aforementioned shoes, lots of linen, lots of cream/eggshell trousers, lots of high-waisted trousers, lots of slubs, lots of beards. (My entry will tick all but one of those boxes).
