I'm happy to announce that my campaign just received an important endorsement:

Nice is an adjective not an endorsement. Was the nice in reference to your outfit, your post caption or both? The voters need to know.

Ultimately, all I seek is a participation award...and perhaps some avocado toast as my mom files my student-loan forgiveness paperwork.

Pretending to read Christopher Hitchens because no one can actually read what he wrote. (RIP)

I tried to get through God Is Not Great without success several times. Being an academic, I pride myself on my ability to get through unreadable texts but that was in impossibility in this case. Really nice trousers, btw.

His Slate columns were about the only thing I could consume with some fraction of comprehension. Even then I would resort to watching YouTube clips.

Agreed. He was a much better orator than a writer. Which is odd because he made his name in literature first.

Winter version of the menswear uniform. Bouclé, flannel and an added cardigan.

Entering for the principle and because I don't shy away from challenges @Thin White Duke

I know it's a crap photo. Well, time didn't allow for more (yet) than a quick POP in bad light.

SF uniform, inspired by the regulars. Unbuttoned white OCBD in honour of all the "of course I forgot it this morning" sprezz (you know who you are). Tie in honour of @An Acute Style. @Caustic Man: I thought about what book you'd read in a @Claghorn pose (unfortunately already done elsewhere, so there went the idea of Foccart's diaries in honour of @Alan Bee and our interesting discussions) and decided you're not really an Orwell guy.

ColHolm, I actually was a bodyguard and your beard and suited look would have fit right in.
