How about a fit challenge which contains no reds, blues, and grays?

I cannot do that in the summer. Fall or winter maybe.

Edit - shugz beat me to it

I'll tell that to the next Walmart stockboy I see in a suit and tie when he goes out to dine at Buffet World.

I have had that thought a few times. I think it would be cool. But I want to do the pink challenge.

:)

If I ever win, these would be the challenges I'd propose:

Going Gray - gray jacket with gray trousers
No Reds, Blues, and Grays
Patterned Pants
The Patriot Challenge - Dress in your national colors
The Affiliate Challenge - outfit must represent 2 different AV's
The Bad Ole' Days - outfit must be composed of entirely pre-SF purchases (a tough one for some of the oldtimers)
The Hard Three - Three button jackets, two of the buttons fastened
Orphanage - an orphaned suit jacket must be worn

You could always do an open challenge. No theme, may the best fit win.

Honestly, I think that is basically a photography/popularity contest. Nothing wrong with that, but we already have WAYWRN. :)

I have rearranged and divided your list...

I think that could be a good choice any season but Summer...people are much more-limited this time of the year in their choices. Basically, the Summer Suit Challenge of last week covered this territory.

so a challenge of dressing crappily?

I have some decent suits from pre-sf. Mostly SFA. Got quite a few Thomas Pink ties that are far from awful (a bit too suit-y for what I wear these days though).

And I think it's possible...though very, very challenging, to wear a suit jacket as a blazer. I mean, I could cheat in that one because I happen to have something which is very much an odd jacket (brown tweed herringbone, 3 patch pockets) that I also had pants made for...so technically a suit. But that would be, I think, a violation of the spirit of that hypothetical challenge.

Given that Bastille Day, July 4th, and some sort of Korean national holiday are all coming up soon, I think the Patriot Challenge might be a good one.

Hmm... This could work.
