This week what else could we have done but Immagine that we were at Pitti Uomo 90 with @EFV and all the Beau Monde?

I called the Challenge Pitti Peacock?

Back then, on Wednesday we were just beginning to see the first of Erik and Erica's excellent pics. Now we have seen so many we may feel we were actually there. So, who did it best? We have a great range from the peacock end of the spectrum to the more formal - reflecting the Pitti pics themselves.

Perhaps not as peacock-y as the regular attendees of Pitti Uomo, but certainly enough of an eyeful for a rainy Thursday in NYC.

Can I change my choice ? At a Pitti I think I would wear a white trousers.

As Pitti as I can Uomo during the work week. A little rumpled after a hot, humid day.

Beer time now that work and the Germany/Poland match is over!

Ok I'll play as I happened to channel Pitti a bit this week anyway.

So this look seems to be inexplicably popular this year at Pitti. Probably not wearing a Brooks Brothers polo (as far as brands go, the anti-Pitti)

Off to Pitti? Well, just a few local errands on a dull Saturday morning - but I was abroad long enough to produce the odd quizzical look I felt:

Although the two are decidedly NOT equivalent, there may be some interesting things going on if the Southern Trad crew gets involved in this. I may have a day at the track coming up next weekend. If I end up going I might post here just to see how the SoTrad element jives, or does not, with Pitti peacockery.
