No raincoats allowed? It's my only PoW garment
sorry, but no.
Don't own anything that would qualify - lots of 'panes, checks & tartans but no PoW/GP - but will enjoy watching the contest unfold regardless!
HF, I am disappoint in you. I would have expected you to have at least 3 or 4 options to choose for.
I used to have that boldly checked Ferragamo DB, which would have qualified as glen plaid. I am eyeing up a couple of S/S SS items that would also just about skate in under the definition, so it's not like I have an aversion to the pattern. It just happens that I have a variety of other plaids & checks.
Oh, hang on, does this jacket count? It's not the typical colour or scale, but does have that intersecting plaid pattern that results in a houndstooth at the point of intersection. I guess, when I think of glen plaid, I think of the characteristic scale & blue/grey (or brown) fabric, not all the more unusual variants.
Because you used the same PS as I do, you are disqualified!
yes that absolutely counts. all color ways and all scales are allowed as long as it the GP/PoW plaid check.
excellent submission, DC and SB.
You're English, and you have no PoW of GP? I mean, is that even legal?
And I liked it so much I bought the company - well, the suit at least! Unfortunately, it is still waiting for me back at my folks' place in Britain, and I don't have any other Glen Plaid here, so I cannot enter*... however, I am very much looking forward to everyone's entries.
* hang on, I think I do have something, but it's not really good enough to be worth entering this competition.
Sir, I cannot figure out what I like most about that fit.
