Purple is the school color for Kansas State University. (KSU only has one official school color, which is unusual.)

These are Allen Edmonds Cronmoks. They were originally a dusty blue color. I dyed them purple myself.

They look very good, and your entry proves that Oxfords can work very well worn casually with jeans !

We know that they put broguing on some of the most business-formal oxfords but their provenance is that of a country shoe so my preference is to lean towards derbies and wearing them with casual outfits mostly. I don’t like oxfords in the first place (they don’t work for my high insteps) and even though they’re fully accepted by now, I still think broguing on formal shoes is a bit of an incongruent combination. Just my opinion.

Anyway in keeping with the above here’s one of my favourite casual travel outfits when I’m heading to the northern states (in this case Buffalo NY) during cooler weather:

Sunglasses - JMM Dealan in hickory
Jacket - Epauet NY Donegal by Southwick
Shirt - Lean Garments (RIP) oxford popover
Pocket square - The Tie Bar
Strides - Epaulet NY rust flannel
Socks - Lands End IIRC
Shoes - Allen-Edmonds McNeil shell longwings from 2010
