    For the Friday Art Challenge:

And more in its inspirational context:

As I mentioned upthread, I do have a fondness for Baroque art and I have a print of the cardsharps hanging on the wall above the table in this snap, just offscreen to the right of where I'm sitting. It's a bit cheesy to have that kind of print, but cheesiness has never bothered me, and I love the painting. I tried to draw inspiration from the various colours and the bold contrasts rather than actually copying a single outfit, though couldn't resist echoing the pose of the younger conman. The table appearing more or less contiguous in the collage was a remarkably fortuitous coincidence!!

I might go with this famous painting by Mexican Diego Rivera.

    Larger version: here

Do I get extra votes if I wear chelasea boots as Diego does?

Betel, if you post a fit with Day of the Dead make up, I will rig the poll so that you win.

Edit: I said that as a joke, but I think I might be serious

That's actually really good, although it does make you look like you are out on day-release... [IMG]

Not sure what that means exactly, but I think that I just showed a lot of range in those two fits. Lets focus on that, and my execution, not my mental stability, or lack thereof. Kthnx!

    :)
