Just for the fun, here's my try. I would like to use another PS, but my PS collection is not that big.

^^ agreed that this would have benefited from a different square.

I don't have any official entries since I'm not wearing any of them today, but I threw some combos up on hangers last night, and I'm thinking of posting them. You'll just have to disregard the messiness and poor lighting. Just go easy on me because a lot of my stuff isn't very nice. [IMG]

Into a crowded field I rush, undaunted. (OK, a little daunted) [IMG]

Attolini for Luciano Barbera (I expect my bonus points) BBGF Hickey Freeman Unknown madder silk, hand rolled Trafalgar belt (not shown) HF trou (the slimmer cut LPs I really wanted did not come back from the tailor in time.) Pantherella Alden
Note that I made a game-time substitution of a brown suede belt for the suspenders, and a madder square for the puppy-tooth one shown here. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

^^ This makes me want both an olive/green based sc and a sheppard check tie. What is the fabric for both?

    GMMcL... that SC [IMG]

Yup and unfortunately my other SC's are with the tailor so I didn't have a lot of options.

Wool on the SC (super 140s, to be exact), silk and wool on the tie.

Go easy on a newb. [IMG]

Here's the first fit. The jacket is a true two-tone herringbone so it qualifies. It might look a little out of season, but it's actually quarter-lined. The tie had the best pattern out of my whole collection for this particular combo, but it's wooly so not season-appropriate. I also didn't have any clean, appropriate pants. So it's out.

The next fit is actually a 5-pattern if you count the birdseye jacket and a 4-pattern if you don't. It's hard to tell, but the pants are brown with a blue pinstripe. However, they need serious hemming so this fit is out.

This fit is actually a full suit. It's hard to see, but there's a faint windowpane in all that navy. However, you may be able to tell how wrinkly it is from the pic. It needs to go to the cleaners. So it's out.

And finally, here's the one I would have worn today. It combine the jacket from the first fit and the shirt from the second fit. But again, no damn clean pants...

You may notice that the square is the same in every single pic. It's all that I own outside of a white one. So there you go. My first real SF exposure. They all follow the rules, but I somehow managed to find a way not to wear any of them.

@ Alan, sounds like you need to do laundry more often! or buy more clothes....or do both.
