I wish people would hold back on these kind of definitive, prejudicial comments, at least until its likely most of the entries are in. It's only 8.30 am where I am. Half of the posters are probably still in bed!

The small Wang allowed me to shove an extra Drakes* in there. Waiting to be struck down by the gods for double stuffing. Right, have at it; I've given you enough openings.

Technically, my fit from yesterday would qualify. But a) I might get a negative number of votes; and b) Monkeyface might actually lose his mind if I have the temerity to post it to yet another threak. Tempting as both of those are, I think I'll spare everyone the trouble.

So I shall try to redeem myself with an actually decent (or at least as passable as I'm capable of) fit as soon as I've dressed and had a chance to snap shots.

SO I might not have the chance to take a pic but I hope it will be ok for me to post something that passes the criteria.

Here's my effort, May it Please the Collective. BTW, lighting was atrocious; zero natural light. SC is chocolate brown glenplaid with a very very faint blue overcheck. Shirt is white. Tie is like a kind of seafoam. SC is green with seafoam rolled edge. Northern half is 100% linen, southern half is suede (belt and shoos) and cotton (trou and socks).

Remnants of pre SF days.

Worn twice in 4 years . May 09 and two weeks ago. Now back in hiding.

Date not suitable for contest, but it is wrinkly.

JP, a clearly casual striped summery jacket can remain fun IMO, pre-SF or post! Nice look.

The weather gods did not cooperate today; I ended up wearing a 3pc suit and having to use a brolly instead! Oh well, next time... will enjoy watching the fun instead.

But in the same participatory spirit as JP, here's an old (and therefore non-eligible for the contest) snap of some very wrinkly linen in rather more appropriate weather:
