1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

In light of the relative coolness of most of the Northern Hemisphere, and the fact that the Southern Hemisphere is still in springtime, I thought that it was high time that we showed off our double-breasted suits or jackets. Suit or jacket is acceptable, fit must be worn this week, and I will take a volunteer to administer the poll, as I'll be playing tourist in Toronto this weekend.

    Go to it, gentlemen!

On behalf of the inimitable @upr_crust please find before you your 'Get yer two tits out' - Double breasted suit or jacket Friday Challenge!

    Best,

    Cleav

Though StyFo may disagree, I'm still clinging to the notion that I'm too short for a DB. Perhaps of more importance, though, I don't think I would feel comfortable in one - at least not yet.

JCM, I think you would look splendid in a DB. Right cut and cloth and you'd be a winner all day! I have had the pleasure of meeting our host and can attest that at 4 feet 6 inches a DB suits him well!

@upr_crust in light of my white lie ^ I will gladly, if you'll have me, administer your poll(!) on Saturday evening!

First off, Cleav, you are the most charming liar I've ever had the pleasure of meeting :). I will leave the administration of the poll in your capable hands, while I am frolicking in Canada, and, for the record, I believe that I am only four inches taller than JCM (I am 5'9"), so yours was a fairly whitish lie, told in a good cause.

This could be a classic challenge.

I don't own a double-breasted suit or jacket, so I'll just be a spectator for this one. I will, however, be a very happy spectator I'm sure.

I'm hoping @Claghorn will throw his hat in the ring. If I recall correctly he's got a dark blue one (what else? Duh ...) that's perhaps my favorite of all his jackets. Huntsman, perhaps? Can't recall.

    Cheers,

    Ac

I'm unable to play either, but I anticipate some good fits. I'm especially eager to see some younger gents show that the under-40 crowd can pull off the DB.

Murl, you're right (especially cuz I remember that Stitchy has a killer DB suit).

Stitchy, if you don't play, you suck.

    My humble entry . . .

Ok, here goes my first crack ever at one of these since I happened to go DB today (no snickering at the back and play nice!)

    Apologies for the terrible pic...
