Gentlemen, you are cordially invited to take part in this week's challenge, ITALIAN CBD - Classico con Sprezzatura. In this Italian Conservative Business Dress style challenge let's look at classics with nonchalance. The more soporific the better. You will wear a suit or odd-jacket combination, a tie of course is encouraged. Key to the look is that the tie is quiet, though you will find less quiet examples (!) aside from that the choice is yours based on the excellent (IMHO) examples set out below which include Andrea della Valle, Diego della Valle, Luca di Montezemolo, Gianni Agnelli, Stephen Winkelmann, and Matteo Marzotto et al. I have long been inspired by this look and have been supported and encouraged by our friend @Ich_Dien and a great recent thread by @crimsonsox please support http://www.styleforum.net/t/379713/italian-cbd Challenge details: Submissions must be posted by 1700hrs GMT Saturday 15th March 2014. All submissions are to have been worn in March, please indulge me this as I am very tight for time this week. The poll will go up directly on Saturday evening GMT and close on Monday 17th March 2014. For the summary post, I will use only one picture per entrant and will therefore choose your first offering. Buona fortuna a tutti! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I don't have cool enough hair for this one much less the proper attire I don't think. I'll keep an eye on what people are posting though and maybe I can make some magic happen.

I guess I was thinking it had to have a certain look to it (DB and Larger lapels). I know the coat does but the suit was more tame imo but if you think it fits I'll start there. [IMG]

Is a DB suit/jacket considered to be CBD in Italy?

Check the pics in the first post, at least half of the suits worn are DBs. Some worn unbuttoned for that extra sprezz.....

That's great, I wish DBs were accepted as CBD in countries besides Italy. I suppose I'll go navy on navy, one of Berlusconi's favorite colour schemes.

DBs can't be CBD in London?
