Not to steal TTO's thunder in starting this thread, but it was decided that, in honor of the 70th anniversary of D-Day, that the Friday Challenge will be the Blue and Green challenge. The basic premise is to put together a fit that includes blue and green. Extra sprezz for military-inspired attire and/or regimental ties (especially in the challenge's color scheme). Double extra sprezz for integrating vintage military attire or vintage regimental tie into your fit. Negative sprezz for weaponry - we are at peace now! I didn't state an end time for the challenge, so my apologies if anyone wanted to participate before I set the poll. The poll expires at midnight (GMT) Tuesday. Entries below: Kulata:

Nice one! No opportunity to wear anything appropriate before the end of this challenge, but my fit from a few weeks ago had an added military colour as bonus: brown. But no regimental ties or any military attire...

From a few days ago. Maybe a week ago. Random picture checking how the jacket fit. But I thought the pose might be appropriate.

Not current, but some inspiration. May try to squeeze in something tomorrow.

I had a job interview for a summer teaching gig today. Nailed it. I also wore double camo and Black Watch socks. The raincoat was $15 on sale at Joe Fresh. Not shown: black watch umbrella.

Basic premise fulfilled - blue and green, and with a striped tie, though hardly a regimental.

Crusty, I'm struggling to see any green in that fit.

IRL, the base color for the SC is a light olive green.

I also went with olive. Since I didn't find any regimental striped tie with green in it, I thought olive would be the second best choice for military inspired colour scheme. New 3 piece linen suit that I ordered for Pitti, will need a new pressing before I go though.

I didn't knew about the challenge! And I think I didn't wore a green with blue tie this week! [IMG]
