dude, you got 15 votes...that put you in the fucking top 3. You have no room to bitch about a bias in the voting.

Theres a very specific aesthetic here...if you dont find a way to conform while standing out, youre not gonna get a ton of love 100% of the time. But again, this in no way should bother you because you FINISHED FUCKING THIRD PLACE MAN.

If youre trying to say theres a bias based on cliques within SF, then youre dead wrong again. Everyone loves sugarbutch, and he finished last in his own challenge.....

sorry for the long rant, but that post is just bullshit son. Get over yourself, stop being butthurt, and grow up. Youre a nice guy, so ill just assume this post was a lapse of clear thinking and judgement.

Uh Derek, no reason for disrepect and we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. There is no bitching or raving in my post. Just calling it as it appears to me and I'm entitled to do so. Your vehement response is over the top and needlessly rude.

Peace bruh, it ain't that serious....

Edit: Come to think of it, I'll chalk this up to your lack of sleep this weekend because of the cranky little one.

sorry. like i said...youre a good dude and i like your posting...i can be a brash cunt at times....but yeah we're gonna have to disagree on this because you did very well in the poll and IMHO it sounds like youre just whining that you didnt win. C'est la vie.

    This.

Also, ask Stitchy how many times he entered these contests and lost before he finally won one.

AAS won one his second or third try in his third or fourth week on SF (or finished second to TTO and as runner up was able to pick the next challenge--I forget).

The more participants the merrier, so please keep playing [IMG]

    this.

first off, this aint over yet.

secondly, yes, i have never won a challenge, and tbh, there were a few where i thought i should have and that my fit was defo the best, but its not about what i think. its about what the general populous thinks, and sometimes, what one may think is the best fit in the game, just does appeal to others. when that happens, the best think to do imo is to take it on the chin and try again another day.

ebonyman, i was not saying you should have worn a black tie for this challenge, i was saying that a black tie with that fit would be tops. as is, i think that tie is very much not within the general appreciation here likes, and that was probably why you did not get more votes, but who knows.

lots of people here who are not exactly forum darlings have won friday challenges, there is no set bias that allows people to win. if you dont want to participate that is up to you, but you are only punishing yourself, no one else.

just let it go, and forget about it. thats what i do anyways.

If you actually read what I posted, I stated my opinion while still being complementary to other participants. There is no bitching whatsoever so Derek response was needlessly rude and personal. Other than noting what appears to be a bias towards certain (again, just my opinon) posters, no attacking of anyone's fit, no bitching about anything whatsoever. The response was unwarranted.

Anyway, Derek apology accepted. I have to assume that you did not mean to come off like a prick or the forum attack dog in your initial response. I anticipate given the nature of this forum and the general discourse that disagreement or unpopular opinions can be discussed with mutual respect. I mean seriously, there is 0 need for acrimony when discussing matters of this nature.

At the risk of beating a dead horse, I hope you continue to participate. Winning is always nice, but you've put together some solid looks that have gotten a fair amount of votes. I probably average 2-3 votes per challenge (really need to get some decent photos) when I participate and may well never win one of these, but still think it's fun to try something new or come up with a different take on a traditional look.

Thanks for the level headed response Stitchie. As I posted previously, I still anticipate that I will learn from future challenges by merely viewing. There is no intent to "punish" anyone by not participating in the challenge. The very notion is humorous to me and never crossed my mind. It just isn't that serious.

It's all good fellas. I'm not worked up over this. If I'm wrong about the bias, so be it. I wrote my opinion and I'll stand by it. If others don't agree, that's fine. I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

    As you were...

Life is about options Derek. I think you chose the low road in the wording of your response. If I had worded the post you are responding to differently, it might have merited your shreiking response. Maybe this is the way you always conduct yourself when confronted with an opinion with which you do not agree. If so, I think that's unfortunate.
