In this challenge, you shall wear a pink shirt. Pants, jacket, tie, and shoes required. Hank and socks optional (but encouraged).

If for no other reason, do it for the money:

The power of pink: Men who wear shirts of that colour earn £1,000 a year more than those who don’t

Some examples:

1000

1000

1000

1000

1000

1000

Details for the nitpickers and legalistically inclined:

  • The pink shirt need not be solid pink
  • A red hairline stripe or microcheck which resolves to pink from more than a foot away is pink
  • Lavender is not pink
  • A Pink brand shirt which which is blue or some other color is not pink
  • Contrast collars are permissible
  • Fun shirts with a pink panel are not pink (I see you, AAS)

Entry closes at 5 p.m. Pacific on Friday. Poll closes on Monday. I'll do my best to have it posted on Friday night, but I will be at a race track with limited internets. Cut me some slack. Multiple votes will be allowed. Any conforming fit worn and posted to this thread between now and 5 p.m. Friday is eligible.

Finally, I strongly encourage everyone to take one full-length pic and one tight pic from neck to waist.

I'll don a pink shirt just so I can make an extra £1000 a year.

I have faith in your internet shopping abilities, Stitchy. With overnight shipping, you can be in like Flynn.

well, for starters, pink tie > pink shirt.

aside from that, im not sure i want to make ANOTHER challenge specific kop. last time i did that i did not win. i do have a pink shirt, but its not great in fit and collar. very nice color though.

I have enough pink shirts to play this game - my only question will be which one, and can I coordinate it to whatever suits are in rotation currently.

As long as that pink is a shirt and the stink is a jacket, tie, pants, and shoes, you're all good.

You know, I was thinking just yesterday that I was totally bored of pink shirts; I wear them much more infrequently than I used to 5 or so years ago.

So this challenge will either rekindle my interest, or they'll fade away from my wardrobe completely over time due to a lack of new purchases. I like those stakes.
