1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

This is as much as I can do in Christmas-y mode on short notice - I'm out of reindeer sweaters . :)

SC, shirt, tie, trousers, PS, socks and shoes - all BB.

Does a cartoon tie count? They've not very Christmassy animals, admittedly (turtles), but they are an icy blue and the tie is festively red. IIRC the pocket square has unicorns on it and they're sort of festive, right? Right? Right?!

(doesn't matter, of course, my vote - and that of any sane individual - will be going to Roycru!)

Yes, I am aware that it was not literal. I just thought that it isn't particularly cool to summarily dismiss the entries of people who actually made an effort (dare I say more than you did) to enter the contest, and have done a nice job at looking good in the process.

I'm sorry if I made anyone feel that way (though let's be honest, would anyone genuinely feel that way about a little throwaway, and clearly light-hearted, comment made by someone who, like you said, didn't really make an effort for this contest?! I'd hope we're all a bit more thick-skinned here than that). But the good news is, with multiple choice voting, everyone can be happy! [IMG]

Lots of great entries so far.

I don't own any Christmas/holiday spirit items, so I tried to use as many seasonal ones without it looking too garish. Fair isle sweater, snow flake flannel shirt, corduroy trousers, snow flake socks and suede/leather boots.

Hahaha! True 'nuf!. I could participate and would love to. I'm just absolutely swamped trying to close 4Q deals AND do finals/grades AND keep up with the X-mas shopping season on Ebay AND Christmas shopping for the plethora of women in my life (and before I get into trouble, I mean my wife and 3 daughters). No time for pics, sadly.
