Title says it all, this week we're DTO:ing an outfit by @Claghorn. I.e. Let yourself be inspired by an outfit that he has posted, either here or on his Instagram. I chose Clags as a subject, since he's got a wide variety of outfits, but also posts a lot of solids, which I suppose a lot of us can try to simulate with stuff from our own wardrobes. Rules: 1. Post the Claghorn outfit that inspired you next to your own. 2. Your outfit has to have been worn this week or the week before. 3. Post before Saturday evening (I'm going by CET here). 4. Claghorn can DTO any of his old outfits, but has to wear the challenge outfit this, or last week. 5. You don't have to copy the outfit, just be inspired by it. Examples:
1000
1000
1000
1000
Entries:
Clagish elements: Jacket pattern (Incidentally the fabric in the first inspiration pic and this jacket are both from Holland and Sherry), OCBD spread collar, fiery PS, knit tie, suede captoes (although no shoes at all may have been more appropriate). Since I can't DL photos from instagram here are the links to the two pics that inspired this fit: http://instagram.com/p/3PC5LEMgZR/, http://instagram.com/p/27Bodjsgbr/
Here is my interpretation of a Claghorn outfit : and mine :
Inspiration: Execution:
Here is my second post ever. Inspired by: My take: I went with a summery version of a photo from his IG that was posted this winter. One twist, I've noticed that he always goes with a close stripe, when his shirts are striped. I went with a wider bolder stripe to add my own touch.
My entry:
1000
Inspiration:

Yeah, I should have worn a cotton shirt instead to get that special brand of Clags crispness.
Inspiration: Imitation:

Sadly, interior light was really bad.
I'll see about adding something. @The Noodles already has his entry, I think, though he didn't post it here yet. I think @Murlsquirl could have put together a winner, and I know Stitchy is busy, but he's definitely put together a few fits that would qualify. My entry, hastily shot in fading light, not worn for more than five minutes.

An entry for Stitchy

Caustic Man, that's not an Oxford Cloth Button Down. Also is 'OCBD spread collar' not an oxymoron?

These were the kind of pictures I wanted to give as examples, but I couldn't find it in your SF albums.
