FUUUUU! Haha, ok so I will be forced to use the navy ones. Will try to get a quick shot tomorrow or Friday morning wearing the same, quick outfit change, quick shot, post and done. :D

You don't have any brown wholecuts or wingtips?

Wholecuts, nop. Wingtips, yes but those are color tobacco, they called them like that. Or the boots, but those are almond color, or the deerskin loafers but also almond. Or the burgundy ones that are the same as the navy ones. :D

Play. Show us some of your exquisite non-staple trimmings.

Also, pulling from last week, everyone is getting nicknames based on their fits. Holdfast is Red Thunder.

I've belatedly realized that today's fit would have been a valid entry with a different tie. Maybe tomorrow...

What the heck. Can't believe I missed a challenge called "crazy shoes", so about time I rolled the dice again. Un-staples it is, and as it's still far from autumnal here and the last day of the week, I thought I'd go for a bit of a summer linen dandy (for a change...). Have to argue contracts with some partners today, and I figure there's not much more disorientating than being shouted at by an intense man in spectators and a bright blue suit. Going well so far. :)

P.S. I would like to suggest that the briefcase-clutching action demonstrated above, should henceforth be referred to as "Doing a Don".

P.P.S. I think perhaps also that wearing bright, ostentatious or non SF-approved clothing with the deliberate intent of discombobulating business associates, might be known as "mickaeling". What say you?

Is that tie purple? And does that shirt resolve to blue or white at a distance or are the stripes still visible?

The tie is purple wool herringbone; the shirt is visibly stripey I think. As pictures are selfies with a Blackberry, all colours resolve to blur at three feet. But I think I'm in the spirit of things here, aren't I?

Patterned gray is fine. Just not solids.
