On my iphone screen, it looks solid blue. I'll get home and see how it looks on a monitor. Excellent fit regardless.

It looked solid blue on my iPhone screen. Computer screen, it looks solid blue with a little bit of distortion. I think it's a no go.

i have 3 pair. 2 wool donegal, brown (these) and gray (they grays were the ones in yesterdays fit), and a pair of cotton chinos/khakis. some of my favorite, and best fitting, RTW pants. HIGHLY recommended.

Shit man, you guys are killin' me with these judgment calls. That's less chestnut than I expected, but still not a "staple" brown. In.

You wish. I intend on throwing down, not rolling over.

They aren't brown, so it's ok. Only out if they are brown AND captoes.

I didn't want to tip my hand. I'll probably be going with the latter rather than the former.

Ok so a Allen Edmond bourbon would fly? Sorry I assumed brown meant all shades. Devils in the details.

That's a bit too brown. Bourbon and brown (as AE classifies them) would be "staple" browns. As in when you tell someone they need to start their shoe collection with some brown captoes, you're thinking of something in that range. Chestnut and walnut are pushing it (especially chestnut) and would be a judgment call on my part.
