Going to have to think quite a bit about this one the next few days. I have some ideas, but I'll have to find a way to successfully synthesize them into a coherent look. Which is tough for me even when I do have staples to draw from.

C'mon you lot. Post fits, f'cryingoutloud! I'm feeling about as exposed as Nadia Comaneci with a split in her leotard here.

Should chestnut count as brown with regards to shoes? It's certainly not a staple.

I think it would depend on the shade of chestnut. However, you have to allow *some* shades of brown--if you get rid of all of them you're left with 1) non-cap-toes, no matter the color, and 2) odd colors, which are just bleh IMO.

It's that exact shoe. I don't feel comfortable unilaterally saying yes here since I'd be wearing it.

Clags, you may wear said shoes without fear of SF opprobrium.

I was going to sex my fit up with some snake-skin patterned Chelseas, but the overall effect was mildly vomit-inducing so I plumped for mid tan loafers instead. Personally I feel that proscribing cap-toes is enough, lest utter mayhem ensue.

Peoples of StyFo, are you comfortable with Claghorn's being the reigning champion of the revived Friday Challenges? If not, I suggest you place a preemptive vote for my entry this week to ensure that a proper king sits on the throne. :)

Gentlemen, do you really want to elect these two professional politicians? Caustic is a man of the people. You have to ask yourselves one question. Are you better off now than you were last challenge?
