You missed a clear shot here, man: "will.i.n for observational purposes."
I think I'll be in.
i expect you to play along, shugz.
I should be in for this one....I hope!
YIPEE!!!! so much participation!
Gray trousers are fine. I figured taking them out might make it too hard. Chinos are fine as well.
Sorry about forgetting the name of the no pants challenge Stitchy ^_^
I plan on using non gray trousers, btw. Looking to up the difficulty level here. Hopefully no fail.
Yeah, props to anyone who decides to eschew gray trousers.

I'm going to kick this sucker off.
Suit - Canali wool/cashmere
Shirt - Baubridge & Kay
Tie - Ted Baker
PS - TM Lewin
Links - miscellaneous
Shoes - Santoni
Shades - Vintage Ray-Bans (ca. 1989)
I should probably have the suit taken out just slightly around the midriff level. I fall smack between a 50 and a 52 in Canali. This suit is a 50.
Given that there are a few gray areas in this challenge, here are a few fits that qualify, but barely:
The tie pushes it, but it's clearly not a navy striped tie, but a tie which is gray and blue. The shirt walks the border as well, but is clearly striped at about this distance (and would remain striped another meter out, perhaps). The jacket is powder blue, well away from anything we'd think to call navy.
I'd need a shot from further away to judge the shirt, but this would probably qualify.
Given that the shirt is blue on blue, I wouldn't include this in this voting.
The tie here would disqualify this fit. The shirt would clearly work (whereas Stitchy's check is a less clear cut case).
Over the last year, I've pinned about 250 fits that I liked, exclusively from this forum. Of the 250, there are less than a dozen that would qualify for this challenge. So this will be interesting.
Just stick to non-staple colors, all the shirts in your last post should not qualify. It's a challenge to use your creativity, not the one that blends in uniforms (staples).
Interesting criteria, with plenty of scope for trainwrecks. I approve wholeheartedly.
This should be cool. I'm in. Though I doubt I'll raise the coolness bar.
These challenges are about balance. Present something difficult without excluding many potential entrants. We've also recently done the oddly colored shirt challenge a few months ago. Given that these folks also have to deal with a bunch of other restrictions, to eliminate patterned blue and white shirts might be a bit much. It's no fun with 6 entrants.
It's been a long time since I've participated in, or even followed the challenges, but I will participate this week.
