SB delivering the sartorial equivalent of a nuclear strike. Including the radioactive fallout.

Butler - no purple at all? The sumptuary laws no longer exist, you know!

Did you pick that shirt up in the parking lot outside a TJ Maxx?

close. saks off 5th! i wore it just for you. its much less offensive when its seen as a whole, and from a few feet away. regardless, i knew it was right up your alley.

Regarding SB's disaster of a fit, I was thinking that a navy linen SC and a different shade of green pant might have saved it... But then it wouldn't be the masterpiece that it is...Never mind.

Canta, I will have you know that every item here is lovely on its own. It's not their fault that I did this. FWIW, the green is closest to that shown in the shoe shot. The full-length is glowing! That's what I get for editing pics on a tiny screen. Clags, I will leave it up to you to choose which of my fits should be entered in the challenge.
*******. Here's my loud, happy farewell to summer. Who needs good taste, right?

This is pretty crazy even by my standards. Purple tie and socks with green pants.

Looks kinda familiar though... I love the fit of the pants. These seem slimmer than your suit pants. I think it looks better on you.
Man, these pants are waaaaaaay baggier than any of my suit pants.

Funny, I've been in a similar situation today - a co-worker told me how much nicer the "slim" pants looked on me. I was wearing my cream linens, which are the baggiest summer pants I own. They just happen to drape amazingly.

You say that as though I can't see them.

I would assert that you actually can't see them in this context.
