1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I know some friends that are in the US and don't have their keyboards in Spanish and they write the "ñ" as "ni" so "señor" would be "senior" [IMG]

Giving this thread a bump, so that I can find it more easily very early tomorrow AM (and so can you all, who wish to participate in this Friday's Challenge).

I don't wear shoes inside the house, and I'm not ballsy/motivated enough to walk outside, take a picture of my feet, walk back inside (up four flights of stairs...one of the coolest things about Korea IMO is that elevators often don't go to the 2-4 floors because...well...people can walk that), drop off my camera, and walk back out again.

This may change. Mrs. Claghorn and I are finally moving into a new place (we've lived separately since getting married in June due to lease stuff) and she, being the wonderful woman she is, will take some of my WAYWRN pictures. Outside. With shoes.

In this case, I'm wearing some cognac pebble grain boots from HY.

I look forward to the day when you begin posting pics that show your shoes, so I can fully appreciate your fits.

Aye, she's Korean, though she went to uni in the States. Neither one of us is big on ceremony; we just went down to the courthouse. My parents flew in from Texas to spend the week with us.

There will be a WAYWRN shot with her, myself, another regular WAYWRN poster and his Korean wife. That'll come next month. And that's all I'm saying on that matter. It'll have to be a surprise.

After lunch yesterday, on a (traffic) Island Of Flowers. Brooks Brothers jacket, shirt, and tie, Turnbull & Asser pocket square, Land's End seersucker trousers (with far too many keys in the pocket), and Bass white bucks with blue laces........

I'll look out for it. Seems like you have a good story there so good luck to you both. Are you in Korea for the duration since you're getting a new place, or are you coming back to Texas any time?

Nice trad combo but looks thrown off by excessively baggy strides.

I feel like the shirt makes this busy. This is actually a situation where I'd wear a white linen PS and a white shirt. Boutonnière is very nice though.

edit: Actually I'll explain my point of view a little further. I think color-wise you're already covered (yellow in the hat/jacket, blue in the pants (apparently, colors might be wrong), green in the tie, and orange/red for the boutonnière). There's also some darker and some lighter elements. Normally I'd say a pale blue shirt (not necessarily solid either) would work better but I fear it'd look bad if you take your jacket off (which I'm assuming here is a possibility) given that the trousers look kind of blue too. Pocket square and tie look slightly matchy (and actually, your PS also sort of matches the boutonnière, which imo is taking it too far.
I think the PS might work on red/pink colors, just taking a hint of the boutonnière but not too much.

I might be biased towards simplicity, though…
