Alright, definately looks red there - no idea why it looks so vivid pink on your pictures, I'm using an IPS monitor and colors should come out quite true... I'll say it's fine. At least it's not green, most of us are doing green! [IMG]

I would have submitted my other green fir entry I posted in HOF but didn't want the challenge to become the green shirt challenge.

I'm confused. Is this a Friday challenge or a "here's every bold shirt in my closet" thread?

Yeah I'm gonna have a lot of work to do gathering the "real" entries for the poll. I'm fine with it though [IMG]

You can exclude mine. I thought it was a fun occasion to wear this old shirt again. I remembered "peacock" more than "colour" :) from the challenge description, when I thought of this shirt.

i really think people should post just one fit in the challenge. just the one. decide what you wanna go with, and stick to it.

Agreed. I posted mine to make sure it worked for the contest; otherwise, I'm not suffering the heat tomorrow in a jacket. Linen can only do so much.

I'm also against the idea of including old fits.

im going one further. you dont get to pre-poll the crowd on eligibility, PM the thread starter if you are unsure, and certainly not on which of these 2 eligible fits is better.

one fit. period. if you're in you're in, if you're out you're out.

i think the old fits allowed was fun that first time, especially as it was a winter themed challenge in summer, but outside of that particular challenge, totally agree. all fits must be from the week of the challenge.

Not only that.. I was told for the last challenge I can wear a winter fit for the challenge, then change. I think it should be a fit you wear out of the house.

Having the same shirt myself, I struggle to pair it with any tie beyond dark navy, charcoal grey, or black. Mid grey might work but I'm not sure about the glen plaid; it would have to be very subtle indeed to work IMO.

Continental DBs seem to frequently place the top buttons that high up and that far apart. I don't like it either, and have had previously had the top show buttons on similar DBs moved very slightly down & in to their more traditional position. It looks better that way to my eye.

I agree; very nice colours indeed. Will shamelessly steal for the future! :)

RDiaz ruling request please: does hot pink still count as pink, or is it "unusual" enough to fly in the challenge:

It is pink. A rather lively one, true, and a nice ensemble, but pink nonetheless. No pink please, Doc [IMG]

I can't believe no one has an orange / salmon / yellow shirt!

Understood! Duly spoilercoded away from the thread. [IMG]

I may have to pull out something unusual tomorrow instead...

I was going to get this guy.. But decided against it. All my shirts are burgundy striped (getting tailored, won't get it back) or combinations of white/blue. I showed you that one, which I am wearing right now, but it's casual and won't work for this.
