I am closely watching this thread for inspiration. My hair is disappearing fast, and within a few years, I think I'm going to start wearing hats if for no other reason than to avoid sunburn.

I find caps very tricky to wear; is yours a regular flat cap or a newsboy (with the little button on the crown & the multiple panels)? The loose fit seems more in keeping with a newsboy style, but I can't actually tell from the pic. Regular flat caps are a bit less stylised, and I think are a bit more easily worn day-to-day. I quite like the somewhat retro overall vibe of the outfit.

Is that an Ikire Jones square? I'm also wearing the same one today, if so. SF synchronicity strikes again!

Very cool. We need a few good thunderstorms to clear out the mugginess IMO!

Some good entries rolling in now; hope to see a few more by later on! [IMG]

Nope, Put This On vintage madras. Now that you mention it, I have some spare money right now and have wanted to get one of those Ikiré Jones hanks for a while... [IMG]

This is going to be harder than I thought, to vote. I don't like voting more than one. RDiaz just made it difficult.

Caps are very common were I live (newsboy, flat, beret), country town with many wineries around. Mine is a flat cap, the fit is equivalent to the traditional proportion, nowadays the mass produced flats are too little, in my opinion.

I was on the fence about participating. Now that RD has posted, I'm thinking I won't bother. Top notch, amigo. Top notch.
