I can't participate, but Org and Sugar are the early favorites for my votes!

I would be wearing this today, but I'm not because of reasons.

Beckett & Robb suit (Holland & Sherry linen fabric). I almost ordered this in a brown just like JPHardy's.
Beckett & Robb shirt (looking solid here, it's actually a micro-gingham)
Unknown maker hat, picked up in Florence ages ago
    Unknown linen PS

Some really, really great entrants. Good stuff guys.

Sorry for not playing along. Poor weather in the am meant I wore a traditional suit instead, so nothing appropriate for this thread. I did wear it as a 2pc instead of the 3pc that it is, though, in a marginal concession to the season... ;)

Quite right, Butler, and kick out all those oldies too! But...there is a lot of awesomeness in this thread. So, although I can't possibly compete on wardrobe, or indeed elegance with you gentlemen, I shall join in anyway: in the spirit of being in the spirit, I went back to Butler's original request: all linen three-piece suit, non-matching jacket, high-waisted, AND summer. So there! I did have a little difficulty trying to take proper pictures, though. It's extremely hot and humid outside and my little camera kept steaming up. So here's some of those for comedy, and a couple of indoors for relative clarity on colours etc. Brown satin tie with blue dots, grey waistcoat and trousers from one three piece, blue jacket from another three piece, white cotton shirt, blue satin PS, etc. Indoor blur: [IMG] Outdoor too much steam: [IMG] Outdoor, clean lens and be quick: [IMG] Outdoor, steaming again, phuck it! [IMG] In the car for shoe clarity. [IMG] Conclusion: take all fit pics in the car...it's the new studio for all. [IMG]

I am starting a movement to have TTO banned from competition for a month...he keeps bringing it to another level so that no one has a chance...he is the Meryl Streep of Suits.

What a brilliant challenge, again. Been going through one by one to think logically about who to vote for. Will we have a limited number of votes this time? Either way, my impressions are something like this.

NOBD: summer-ish; very nice but old - out!

Claymore: awesome; proper summer dandy, although limited pic! - vote!

J Barnes: borderline; nice, summer weight but not feeling a summer look - out!

    Clapy: perfection but old, out!

Timo: where J Barnes was headed but didn't reach: all city, but definitely summer - vote!

Orge: probably a title favourite. This is out of the park - vote!

Butch: predictable consistent, bang on - vote!

Kaplan: borderline, but on the right side; the brighter shade just about makes it summer - just about a vote!

JPH: another one on the edge, but the fabric, shades and loafers definitely get it over the line - as above, vote!

Roycru: the suit might be light, and the tie and shirt is summery...but all too CBD for this competition I think - out!

Katabatic: definitely a summer suit, and comedy hat is a bonus - vote!

PT Williams: awesome, but no tie = out!

Southern: I hate socklessness with a suit. I don't particularly like contrast collars. But the latter is appropriate, the former specifically endorsed for this challenge, and the rest is awesome. It pains me, but what's right is right: Vote!

unbelregazzo: not sure, and old pic - out!

TTO - I don't know how anyone can think "summer" and reach for a brown wide stripe DB. But it's light, it's got a silly hat and sockless (argh!) loafers, I guess that's a vote!

Apart from obviously thinking I'm brilliant, it seems to me there's a clear top three: Orge, Southern and Butch. Possibly in that order. Or maybe Timo should be in there.

    But I take sympathy votes.[IMG]
