I'm hoping to go to Paris in May 2022. Hopefully Omicron dies down and no new variant pops up then.
agreed, more than anything I need to see my family in Germany but paris, geneva and lake como would be sweet, cant wait.

I think my friends and I are basically going to follow this rule in 2022. We're thinking Paris and Marseille in May 2022.

A bit off topic, but can anyone recommend a good alterations tailor in Paris? I would like to have a pair of flannel trousers lined to the knee, and maybe move a couple of buttons on a coat.

I haven't used them, but my friend Dirnelli uses Aspen Retouches, I believe in the 17th. The alterations tailor I used to use ended up being a frustrating disappointment.

So you guys can have a chance to cringe at my recorded voice (practice for the Die, Menswear! podcast with @dieworkwear?), I've done a podcast interview with my oldest e-friend Alan Cornett about the lost worlds of French #steez that I write about in my book, linked here:

Just learned Camps de Luca is planning a trip to NYC for early March... I don't have any relationship with them beyond that of normal if neurotic customer but they really are fantastic tailors and people.

Great timing since I'm also going to be there in early March.

FYI- I also saw on Lorenzo Cifonelli's Instagram that he's going to Dallas this month.

He recently hung with Luca Rubinacci, I wonder if they chatted about their favorite shared customer @TheFoo?

Not sure it has been mentioned before, W.W.Chan Hong Kong is offering Fish-mouth lapel/Le cran parisien option for bespoke service now. Patrick has been worn it several times

Just visited Atelier de Luca. Two piece suits start at 2500 euro, part machine made and part made in Italy. Small up charge for the French/de Luca lapel. It seems they are considering a trip to NYC around September/October.
