How many fittings does CdL do? And how long does it take to complete a suit from first measurement? And all of these in Paris, I assume? Thanks.

They will do as many fittings as needed. I had four or five but was quite picky on how high I wanted the armholes (orchestra conductor version).

Then it takes approximately 2 months I would say and they do travel but not everywhere so you'll have to inquire.

If in Paris, do call to stop by and have a discussion with Marc de Luca, a very fine man.

Cifonelli has clients from all over the world, I'm sure you'll be able to communicate with them in English.

Cifonelli has an interesting operation in Japan. They have 4 showrooms in Japan (3 in Tokyo), probably more than you'll find in France.

For their made to order suits, price starts from about ¥120K yen ($1200 USD) factory made in Japan, and ¥250K yen ($2500 USD) for semi-bespoke suits, also made in Japan. Of course, they also take full bespoke orders that are made in the Paris atelier, those cost ¥870K yen ($8700 USD)

That's what I would expect, given Japan probably has the most sophisticated men's ware on the demand side in Asia

Lorenzo can communicate in English. No problems at all. You can also contact Romain at Cifonelli in Paris who speaks flawless English.

Do you think CdL can do four to five fittings in a week (well, except maybe in August when they're all on vacances) for an international visitor?

Or would that be too hurried for quality?

Depends your relationship with the tailor shop. I am sure they can, but will they is another question.

That seems a bit much to ask. If you really want all the fine details plus the minutia of perfect fit, etc. being done and done within a week seems at odds with it.
That said, they might be amenable but even with best intentions, having the work done on the quick and just not having a bit of time to to view the fit with a refreshed eye might hurt the final product. Would you at least be able to have a final fitting when the suit is completed with them? Or would you have it sent to you as is and your local tailor to make those adjustments(assuming any)?

A CdL suit takes 70 hours to make. Not sure it's realistic to expect one made in a week.
