1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Kuro, have you been reading what I have been reading? I just finished Farid Chenoune's men's style history book and that The Group of Five photo was printed on one chapter. The top right suit is from Camps, I can't remember the rest.

Hello all, just wondering if anyone in the thread has commissioned items from Kenjiro Suzuki yet? Would be interested to hear feedback on his work from those who have seen the results. Thanks.

I have a first fitting with Kenjiro Suzuki waiting for me to come by Paris. Can't say much about his work yet - he and his wife are extremely nice, though, and communication has been excellent so far.

Thanks Stone. I've only heard good things that match your impression. Would be interested to know what you make of it...

SeamasterLux has a commission underway at Kenjiro Suzuki, I'm sure we'll have a detailed report & pics when it's ready.

Lapel notch doesn't look like CdL to me.

No, not at all. However, we know that CdL make the bespoke suits for Hermès so perhaps they use a different notch. My photo sucks, but the finishing (e.g., the Milanese buttonhole) was excellent...

My understanding is that Hermes has now brought all bespoke tailoring in-house and that it is done in Pantin.

Now it's more complicate because Hermès is opening stores with "tailoring service".
But Camps de Luca is still doing Bespoke tailoring of Hermès.

Hermes should stick to overpriced bags and poor quality ties.
