I have worn double-cuffs outside of the sweater sleeve before, with the links fastened over.

how I wear the two as well.

Me too - I rather like this look, although I've heard some deride it as vulgar or nouveau-riche(god only knows why) - in fact, I wore it today:

I'm with you. This is a common look for me when I wear a sweater. I've got to say I've only got maybe 5 barrel cuff shirts, and I generally don't wear them.

I'm interested in how turnback cuffs would look with a sweater, folded over the sleeve or not.

Perhaps luk is referring to sweater vests. They are a good choice for cooler weather under a sport coat. The trouble is finding high quality knits with slim fits.

Or you could wear the vest all by itself!

I don't see that it's a problem to wear a sweater with french cuffs, except to find one's own comfort level.

I think this is the only acceptable way to fly without looking like you are trying too hard. Unless, of course, you are "thug lifing" it.

Otherwise, barrell cuffs all the way. French cuffs with links might do better with a sweater vest?
