Planning on wearing french cuff for company xmas party but do not have a lot of experience with them. Are there any standard guidelines/rules? I also want to want to wear a 3 piece suit, are french cuffs and vest a faux pau or too much or are they ok together?

Some people don't want to spend $xxx on the SF definition of "nice" cufflinks. Myself included. I have some cheapos that are soft spoken but suit my style way better than real silver/gold ever would.

My favorite pair of cufflinks, I spent $2 on at a yard sale. Ive never spent more than $50 on a pair. Nice does not always mean expensive.

I <3 silk knots, and wear them exclusively except for black tie.
