Free 70 page eBook with men's fashion illustrations from the 1930's

On Sunday, I released a 70 page eBook Gentlemen of Style that contains 30 full size men's fashion illustrations from Apparel Arts and commentary. It is similar to the book Men of Style, which currently sells for over $200.
Most of the illustrations have never been published online before and so far, the feedback was very positive. At the moment it costs $0, though that may change in the future...

I haven't had a chance to look too closely at your book, as I'm traveling at the moment. But I did draft a review of the Men In Style book that I will post shortly to my blog.

Initial impressions - the mages in your book look much crisper and clearer. The men in style images are not the greatest.

I'm also still not sure if the text that accompanies each image in the men in style book is original apparel arts text. It seems to be, but if it, I'm not entirely sure what Hochswender actually wrote for the book.

I thought the Hochswender book was a bit flimsy, but it does still have 2-3 times more AA images than this book. Quality is not the best, and some are even black and white. But in terms of bang for your buck, Hochswender is significantly overpriced based on some of the silly eBay prices I've seen. Considering that the GFT Gruppo's 3-volume set can be had for roughly 400-600 dollars, it seems silly to pay that much for Hochswender's book.

Strands generally prices the book just under $100, which is still insane but the best price I've seen.

Obviously, a book with even 30 images (and analysis/discussion) for free compares very favorably, in my opinion.

We all agree, that the 30's AA pictures were the best, so I skipped the rest and only posted 30 large illustrations that are all in color and crisp because I think it is more useful to the reader. So far it has been a great success. Is this your blog?
