He's digging himself a hole.

It was a good schtick in the runup to the game, now it's just annoying. He was a 1st rd draft pick, for chrissakes - he's pretty worthless.

I was really happy to see TO go pretty much the entire season w/o any real issues - he was everything he promised to be this year. Who knew Freddie was gonna be the jackass alienating people...

It's good to see class never goes out of style.

I am a Pats fan and I was really impressed with TO in the Super Bowl.

Mitchell and Vanderjac (sic?) must hang out in the offseason.

Both Mitchell and Vanderjerk haven't done too much to be able to talk trash. However, I can still understand why you might do that before a game.

But after you've lost? I just don't get it. And it's not like they got jobbed on terrible calls or something.

Freddie Mitchell was only really a good player in college, and even then, he wasn't as good as he thought. He has a tendency of talking way too much without thinking, and making stupid comments. He said something about his best game ever being against Wisconsin in the Fiesta Bowl, however, that game was actually the SUN bowl, and UCLA lost the game... however, it was still his best game ever... lol

The guy is making himself a few extra million by keeping his name out there. He's a free agent managing to get his name in the headlines day after day - now instead of an unaccomplished receiver, he's an unaccomplished receiver that everyone knows. That's worth some money to him.

He's also making himself unattractive to many teams in the NFL, who don't want a Randy Moss w/o the talent.

I agree. He is such a clown. Why would a GM want a guy like that? I wouldnt take him even if you could get him for below market value. I think any team that signs him is going to take a ton of grief from their own fans.

I still love the interview where he THANKED HIS OWN HANDS for the two touchdown catches he caught. I still laugh at that. I can only hope that someday, someone will stick a mic in my face and something THAT AMUSING will come out of it...

Freddie allegedly dated Liz Hurley while in college so you can't say he's a total loser . . .

Just saw on PTI that he claimed the Eagles would beat the Patriots 8 out of 10 times and that a good team would crush the Pats.

If I recall correctly, while at UCLA Freddie has his own TV show and hung out with a Hollywood crowd.
