There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'd like to hear from anyone who's been to the Fred Segal summer sale in the past few days.  Did you pick up anything?  Is there anything left?  I'm back in L.A. and was wondering if it was worth a visit.

Went there early Saturday, and didn't see anything I really liked that I hadn't picked up at earlier summer sales. The place was a madhouse though. I saw a number of pseudo-celebrities, including the black guy from Big Brother 3, but not much of note otherwise. Still, probably worth checking out. Everything, and I mean everything, was 50% off.

I think I've figured out the secret to the Fred Segal sale:  Go to the Santa Monica store, which is much larger and much less frequented than the L.A. store.  While the L.A. store was pretty much cleaned out by this past weekend, the Santa Monica store still had some pretty good merchandise left.  I picked up a bunch of long-sleeve button-down shirts -- I didn't really need them but at 2/3 off I couldn't resist.
