Any thoughts on how these two compare in terms of quality/fit?

Is the fred perry one worth the extra money?

Also, waxed or unwaxed?

I haven't seen a Fred Perry Harrington in person but I love my Merc Harrington. It fits great (not baggy like Warrior Harringtons), high quality, sweet plaid, sweet fabric, and great price compared to FP Harrington. I would totally get a Waxed FP Harrington TOO if I could afford it and it looked sweet.

There was a guy here who was into his mod-type clothing but not seen him for a while – you might get more responses over on the Streetwear and Denim thread, if you've not already posted there.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
