I found this cardigan I really like, but the only size left is a 46. I'm in between a L and XL for my polos and other clothing. From what I remember from my Lacoste dress shirt I wear a 42 or 44? So my questions is would a 46 be too big?

IIRC Fred Perry actual measurements are 2" larger than the labeled size, so 46 would be too big.
