My copy arrived in last night's mail. It is a wonderful read, with beautiful pictures of Fred looking as great as ever.

Thanks Bruce for compiling and producing such a wonderful book. I will proudly add this to my library of sartorial matters.

I look forward to getting it. I love Bruce Boyer's writing. His Elegance is what introduced me to classic men's clothing. Is Boyer writing currently for any magazines or websites? I still read his archived articles at Cigar Aficionado from time to time.

Bruce is working on more books in the series. He apparently has a good deal with Assouline, and we will definitely see a few more volumes. Hopefully many more.

Wow. That's the first time I've ever connected the style of Fred Astaire and Jackson, TN in my mind.

You betcha. When I think of Jackson, it calls to mind low-end manufacturing, Carl Perkins, and the Catfish Cabin - not graceful, elegant jokers who look like Stan Laurel.

To paraphrase the Gospels, "Can any good thing come out of Jackson?" (well, apparently good books can.........)

Thanks for the info Cuffthis, I've been waiting for this. Amazon had said it wouldn't be ready 'till April 14th.

I just ordered from Assouline.

Again thanks, Cliff
