damn, Creed seems to be a popular choice among the forum! Some really elegant scents in members' photos.

i tried the paul smith london for a casual scent, but I don't wear it much and should probably sell it if possible-- it has sort of a coconut undertone.

although green irish tweed is one of my favorites, thought I'd try the santal and really liked it for formal/ suit days.

however, the best scent I've ever found is still ADP's mandorlo di sicilia (sicilian almond) in the blu mediterraneo collection-- perfect for every day wear, pretty women love it, and fairly good 'curb appeal' as something you can only find in select stores.

Gents, honestly... One of the best fragrances I own is Prada Amber pour Homme.. [IMG] This ranks right up there, IMO, with my Creed collection (of which I am huge fan of Original Vetiver).

I've been trying to scale back, but since I took this pic a while back I can see that I've actually somehow accumulated more...

Once you use a Creed product, everything else seems just okay... I think the Bond line maybe the biggest rip off there is.....they are a bunch of synthetic products that turn on people and wear off in a really short time.

Serge Lutens "Muscs Koublai Khan" is a winner for those who want something different. It's fairly difficult to find as it's only solid is Paris. It's also accordingly pricey. From one review: "Muscs Koublai Khan is part of the exclusive Serge Lutens collection available only at the boutique in Paris. Its exclusivity should never be considered as an obstacle, however, and every self-respecting perfume fanatic absolutely must try this scent. “Luminous and feline”, the only two and very fitting adjectives used in its description, Muscs Koublai Khan has become a sort of informal gold standard of stink (or, to be more appropriate, the level of animalic notes) in perfume. Fondly labeled as MKK, it is the ultimate animalic scent brought to olfactory sophistication. It is indeed the Emperor of Musks, in all its ferocious charm." [IMG]

    thanks, el Guapo!

Question for you guys-- does it matter where your cologne comes from? I'm a self-proclaimed snob on many sartorial items, so I'll be the first to admit-- if they sell it at the local Macy's/ Dillards, I won't buy it; mostly because 'everyone else' is wearing it/ knows about it.

    anyone else?

Some of my current rotation: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Rich and deep, yet subtle, Spanish Leather is a blend of spicy top notes sitting on a woody and leathery base.
