Hello!

I want to buy my boyfriend the motorcycle jacket below:

http://www.foxcreekleather.com/60-m...ackets/305-vented-reflector-motorcycle-jacket

He would want it made in USA and high-quality. Has anyone heard good things about this company? Does anyone have any suggestions for a better USA made motorcycle jacket?

Thank you!

Is this for actual motorcycling? If so, I recommend the Grayson:

Reason being, it has provisions for padded armor in the arms and back for actual protection beyond abrasion.

This is something not offered in Schott or Vanson.

A Grayson is on the docket for one of my next purchases for riding.

I have a pair of Elkskin gauntlet gloves from Fox Creek that are great. They out-shop their manufacture to other American companies. My gloves were made in Oregon.

The customer service for Fox Creek is GREAT.

Lots of other motorcycling forums have attested to this, too.

I really see no gain by spending more money on a Schott or Vanson, and this is coming from someone who's owned a Schott.

BONUS: You can order a Fox Creek jacket in brown for an extra $80, which is the route I would go, for sure.
