1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The 300 has the same dull steering, sterile looks and silly engines that other similar cars have.

The perfect car can never be perfect in every sense because of today's demands. You want something that's comfortable on the road, yet communicates enough to let you know what's going on, yet handles well when you need roadhandling prowess (be it a fun back road or an emergency situation).

In my opinion, Volkswagen/Audi, depending on your price range, are the best. They handle well in snow and rain, they either are FWD or Quattro for grip, they have great sounding engines, a great feel when you are driving them, and good looks. Sure, a BMW might snap around an Audi on the backgroads a bit, but the BMW just feels like it's trying too hard. (Mind you, I've only driven various 3 series)

NR, may I ask if you have a parking spot in Tokyo? My understanding is that you have to prove that you have a parking spot before they can sell you the car. If you actually have a parking spot in Tokyo. . . *I'm not worthy* *I'm not worthy* *I'm not worthy* [IMG]

BBC asked Youtube to remove all Top Gear videos a few days back when they launched their own service for watching Top Gear for free on their site. It sucks ass for anyone without a UK ip, though, so it's pissed of a lot of people. Myself included. All videos of Sabine Schmidt are gone. The world is a darker place.

The Maserati is WILD. But, I do have a weakness for Cadillac shark fins.

I really would like a 1970-72 Jaguar XJ6. Granted it's something I can afford and find really beautiful. Not alot of 4 door luxury cars look good to me. So money no object can I build the best 1970 Jaguar XJ6. [IMG]

The only 4 door luxury car that looks good from the back.
Look thru all of them and you will realize this is true.

Right now I'd go for the CLS or the Alfa 166.

btw, that new VW Passat CC isn't that bad either for a Volkswagen:

With that chrome grill on the front? It makes me nauseous.

I've been thinking lately that the VW Phaeton was a short-lived, and greatly underrated, car. At least on the used market now.
