I just got a Pilot Knight Pen from pendemonium.com
nam65103.gif
It does not come with instructions and I can't figure out how to put in the cartridge. I have only used piston filled systems before. I already unscrewed the nib and I see a bent piece of metal at the other end that is flexible like tweezers and it has an empty plastic thing in it already. I'm lost. --- Looks like I got it, just take the converter off altogether and the cartridge snaps in.

I'm quite impressed that such a complicated piece of machinery came without directions.

My Pelikan came with a pamphlet of directions, this one didn't. I had never seen a converter before and didn't realize it came with one. If anything I was scared I'd break something by twisting the wrong thing. Let that be a lesson to all of you!

Thanks, it is actually an either/or, this is why I was confused. You can take the filler off and snap on a cartridge, which is what I did. The pen writes quite nicely, though not as nice as my Pelikan M215, though the Pelikan cost 3x as much.
