  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

In winter I like to protect my throat with wool and cashmere scarves, but now it is just getting too hot. But still there are chilly days when I would like to put something around my neck. I have seen these "foulard" scarves, I guess that are of silk, in any case, they are light-weight and I think that they could be quite practical during these months, when it is too warm to wear wool but not yet summer...

But I have never worn any. How are they supposed to be worn and when are they to be worn and can you actualluy wear them without looking to "affected"?

Pics might be helpful...

It seems like this guy is wearing my donegal sport coat... Is it brown?
Regarding the scarf, I was thinking more in terms of these kind of open weaves, I don't know the correct term. Something more casual and spring-like.
