Foster & Son "Olivier" Sidelaced Oxford - The Ultimate in English shoe design

This amazing Side-Laced Oxford is named after the famous Actor Sir Laurence Olivier, for whom Fosters are said to have designed a pair in the 1940's.
Foster & Son aimed their new premium range at the
top end of the classic market, priced around £1,250, but very few were made before the Northampton factory closed. About 14 pairs of "Olivier" were made on their No. 83 chisel toe last, but the 6 pairs offered here are the only ones existing in Sequoia Antique Calf.
