Been following F1 since I was a kid in the '80s. Yeah, there have been some cars that are easier on the eye that others over the years, but the whole 'broken nose' look of this year's cars ruins them completely for me.

Me too. '88 was the first season I started to watch. The early 90's cars were stunning, just look at these:









Then they went to **** around '96 - look at this terd Ferrari built:

I agree, the mid 80s-early 90s were the best looking f1 cars. followed by the 60s.

Trulli won't be missed. Really annoyed me that he kept complaining about the Caterham power steering issues - even missed a race. Always liked Petrov.

Probably significant. Apparently Barichello had sponsorship money. I would be shocked if he didnt try and get the drive.

Enough to move the needle? Probably not. It generally costs 10m to move a .1 seconds. I cant imagine they got more than 25 million, if that.

Speaking of Barrichello, I briefly met him at the IndyCar test at Sears Point today. Almost everyone there was waiting outside the KV Racing trailer to see him.
