And Mick crashes again when no one is around him.

Monaco is always so weird in an exciting way.

Checo would not have been able to stay ahead in any other track but give him credit as the driver whose rep is ‘the tire whisperer’

I wasn’t up during the first part of the race, so i missed the RBR overcut - i did see a replay of a new Ferrari clown moment when they told Charles “box, box…just kidding!”

Lando was more than +10 secs from George when he boxed for fresh mediums. Do i misremember, or did he just chill in 6th for some time before deciding to push and within 2-3 laps closed to under half a second of Russell at the checkered flag? If so, why wasn’t he allowed to push earlier? I couldn’t quite understand the radio traffic but it certainly seemed like he wanted to push but the pit wall was holding him back

I think Lando was just saving his tires until he had like 30+ seconds on Alonso when his team told him to pit. Once he got his fresh tires and was running in clean air, he pushed.

Typical Lando weekend. Qualify 5-8, run a cautious, timid race, finish 1-3 spots lower than he qualified.

Rinse. Wash. Repeat.

Great controlled drive by Checo, exactly what he needed having Carlos behind him and not pressure from Max.

Sure, Monaco is an exciting street style track, but it makes for a pretty boring race with little overtaking.

Lol, RBR. Good one Alpine

Horner and RBR- FIA please raise the cap because of inflation.
Otmar and Alpine- get fucked RBR and just spend less. It's not that hard.

Mercedes/RBR and other British teams are also lobbying for a budget increase too, energy prices have tripled in the UK!!!!

I doubt Alpine/Renault even pay an energy bill since they are partially backed by the Socialist French Government 🤣🤣

Sainz was held up by
Latifi
on his out lap, almost certainly costing him the win.

Monaco sucks. Rain races are usually somewhat better, but the FIA fucked that up, too.

What a dumbass. All he had to do was lift and tuck in behind Carlos going up the hill.
