Perez in front of Max is going to shut a lot of mouths...

On a different track, tomorrow would shape up as a pretty exciting free-for-all with six cars having a real shot. Imola, though, is not conducive to passing, and with Hamilton on pole, it could turn into a boring race.

I hope the extension of the DRS zone will spice things up

I have a dollar on Max trying an overly aggressive and ill-advised pass on Perez in the first lap and crashing one or both of them out.

If that happens, I have another dollar on Horner carrying water for Max and slyly alluding to the fact that it was Perez's fault...

Max just can't help himself. He got away with it this time though.

Sainz has always been a ####ing artist in the rain, and it's showing. OTOH, I'm beginning to think my man Lando can't drive worth a damn in it.

EDIT: to say that I spoke too soon. Lando's making a run.

When’s the last time we’ve seen Lewis make a mistake? You do forget these guys are not machines...

even then he caught the luckiest of breaks with the immediate red flagging

I’m not convinced that was Botas’ fault. Did he move right?

Not 100% of the time, but Lewis tends to leave *just* enough room for the other guy in that situation. But Lewis knows and has said that he never knows what Max is going to do, so he knew the risk he was taking.

Bottas not at fault, but he moved just enough to make Russell move to the right in reaction. George will wish he could have that one back.
