ESPN to drop F1 after this season. I’m sure someone will pick it up but I may as well go with F1TV.

F1TV is worth it if you get F1Multiviewer -- lets you set up a 2nd or 3rd monitor off your PC showing lap times, all the radio transmissions with swearing, and multiple in-car cams.

Well that fvcking blows. I hope it continues to air on a regular cable package somewhere so I don’t have to buy another subscription.

Netflix is reportedly among the bidders for F1 in the US.

Racing Bulls livery is quite nice, but nothing else noteworthy from yesterday. I was surprised to see that both IBM and HP are Ferrari sponsors this year. I guess IBM is just a business services company these days?

Too woke?
Too much of a bloated carnival with everything they do.
And they hire booth mics that most people can't stand, talking about you PK Subban, so that I guess they can appear "edgy".
Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I hate ESPN for what they did to college sports pushing SEC above all else. Basically killed the PAC 12 and tried to kill the Big 12 and ACC.

God help me, i watched all 2 hours and 4 minutes of that launch event.

I did not know Jack Whitehall before last night, but i enjoyed him very much. Sophomoric humor done well is my love language.

Besides Jack, here were my likes:
- McLaren lining up all their championship-winning cars onstage
- Christian Horner getting booed
- VCARB livery is 🔥
- the return of Sideshow Bob (Binotto)

Dislikes:
- every single musical act
- i still can’t comprehend Lewis Hamilton in red. It’s gonna take me awhile
- Mastercard as the primary McLaren sponsor is the second visual thing that drives me nuts: the two Mastercard logo circle colors are both similar to the McLaren papaya, but off in different ways.
- ADD: i also don’t like that huge white swath on the Ferrari car that’s there purely for HP.

I feel like these F1 drivers aren’t doing the right collabs. Why aren’t we doing Oscar Pastries??

This is like Charles opening up an ice cream shop when the patisserie concept Charles L’Eclairs is hanging right there…

Grill’d could always do the Gerhard Burger…
